Sex Toy Review: Infrared Rechargeable Massager

Since starting my site almost four years ago I have had the opportunity to partner with several different companies for reviews. As we move forward to what will hopefully be year five I have finally found a small number of reliable sources dedicated to bringing quality products to the consumer. The newest one is Sextoy.com.

The first item I will be reviewing is the Infrared Rechargeable Massager.

When it first arrived I couldn’t help but look at it in its clear plastic package and wonder what it was really used for. It came with three attachments which reminded me of something out of a bad sci-fi movie and I was more than a bit intimidated. Still, I know not to judge a book (or in this case, a sex toy!) by its cover, so I unwrapped it.

The head swiveled and I could see where the angle might be good for those hard to reach places. As a massager it really did offer a lot by way of bells and whistles. Sturdy construction, three unique attachments, swivel head, and infrared heat on the low setting. I plugged in the a/c adapter and waited the recommended twelve hours.

Once my twelve hours was up I took the infrared rechargeable massager to bed with me. Since it was marketed as a massager I used it as one. It felt great on my neck and shoulders, but massaging yourself is different than having someone else use it on you. So, I handed it to The Knight who proceeded to use it on my middle and lower back. I really liked the low setting with the infrared heat. It was a nice change of pace against my skin and seemed to help my muscles. All in all, it wasn’t bad.

Now, since this is a sex toy review, I knew I had to go down south with it. That is where the toy really disappointed me. If you have ever used a Hitachi wand and you’re thinking that this might be fun to compare, just forget about it. Not only did it begin to lose its charge within ten minutes of removing it from the a/c adapter, the vibrations were not intense enough to do more than tease my girly bits. {On the other hand, the intensity of the vibrations were just right for my husband and his man parts.}

If you’re looking for the best bang for your buck then I would suggest something else. If you’re looking to use this simply as a massage device for yourself and your partner then this is an affordable and efficient one to take a look at. Over all, it’s not the best product and it’s certainly not the worst product.

Oh yes, I did.

Sex Toy Review: Hi-Tech Bullet Collection

Courtesy of Edenfantasys.com

Courtesy of Edenfantasys.com

This review brought to you courtesy of Edenfantasys.

I chose the Hi-Tech Bullet Collection to review because it looked like the perfect combination of toys. A g-spot stimulator and a small bullet vibe for clitoral stimulation. This combination also boasted independent controls for each one, so I was really excited to give it a try.

It arrives like all packages arrive and that’s a good thing. A plain white box with only my name and shipping information makes me very happy. It’s always been one of the things I liked best about Edenfantasys.

By now we all know how I feel about batteries. They’re a pain. They’re bad for our environment. The fact that this toy required four for the controller was ridiculous. Why can’t people just go green like Lelo already? {Let me pause here to state, for the record, that I am very interested in reviewing more Lelo toys for this reason and many others!} So, I loaded the batteries and we took the toy to bed.

The bullet vibe intended for clitoral stimulation was okay. It didn’t move mountains for me. Not by a long shot. It’s very small. Think mini-bullet rather than standard bullet or egg. However, since my husband and I try toys together, I did use it on his man parts. That was a big hit. Not as big as the Nea but he enjoyed it. Since there are so few toys that men can enjoy, that fact keeps it on the list to try again.

The g-spot stimulator was nice. It was kind of short but it did indeed stimulate my g-spot. The velvety soft finish that was touted on the website was good. It’s different than plain hard plastic, which is a bad thing in my book, so the material was a nice change of pace. The vibrations were good for a g-spot stimulator, not too intense just intense enough to work their magic.

One of my peeves with this toy is the length of the cords running from the controller to the toys themselves. To say that they’re short really doesn’t do it. Let’s say they’re extremely short and say we’re being generous. To use the toys together I had to practically bend myself in half. Now, I can do that, but who wants to? Maybe if your partner is using the toys on you like my husband eventually did, then you’re okay. If you’re using them for solo play, good luck.

Sex Toy Review: Jenna’s Rocket Booster

This review is brought to you courtesy of EdenFantasys.

Everyone knows I’ve tried a lot of toys. From the Lelo Nea to the Clit Kiss, I’ve been around the block a time or two. I’ve even given the Silver Bullet a shot.

My next item on the review list is Jenna’s Rocket Booster. I’ve heard loads of good things about pocket rockets. Most women love them, swear by them, would marry them if possible. So, it made sense to give one a go.

It arrived in plain packaging which I have to love. Edenfantasys has a great shipping policy so it arrived quickly and without unwanted attention. We know the neighbor lady watches for what arrives at our door, so yes, plain packaging is a win.

At this point, I had no idea what to expect. I saw the pictures and I knew it was promoted as a vibrator but short of that, I knew nothing. So when I opened the box and saw the size, I was surprised. It looked too small to be a standard vibrator but too big to be a clitoral vibe.

I loaded the vibe itself up with a battery then added batteries to the controller. It was surprisingly powerful but not very noisy. Quiet toys are awesome in a house full of kids, so that fact alone made it one for the preferred for future use list.

So the husband and I took it to bed with us that night. I couldn’t figure out if the cap was supposed to stay on or not, so we used it both ways. It was more powerful than the Nea but not as powerful as a silver bullet. It wasn’t enough to get me off, but it was more than enough to get me going.

My husband thought it had a nice feel to it when I used it on his man parts. That’s another bonus for me since we play together. The highest setting was too much but all the rest felt good to him. Even if it’s not marketed as a couples toy, it’s nice to find another one that we both can enjoy.

All in all, it’s a decent product. It feels solid, like something that will last beyond the first two or three uses and it’s easy to handle. Even if it uses batteries (which I don’t like because I know how important it is to be environmentally conscious) it’s still a nice addition to our collection. It all comes down to personal preference, but I’d recommend this product.

Sex Toy Review:Hop’n Rabbit Stroker Vibrator

This sex toy review brought to you courtesy of TheRabbitVibrator.com where you can find an assortment of rabbit vibrators to tickle your fancy.

I was really surprised when I received an offer to review a rabbit vibrator. I’d seen them on various toy sites but always passed them by. I’m not sure whether the expense or the overall look of them made me pass them by, but I decided that I’d try one. So, I let them know that I wished to review the Hop’n Rabbit Stroker.

When the toy arrived, it came in a plain box with no markings that screamed sex toy inside. That’s always a plus for me. I can’t imagine my elderly neighbors being too keen on them, so it’s better if they don;t know. So, score one for TheRabbitVibrator.com for plain packaging!

I opened the box and I was astounded by the size of the toy! The sheer size of it was enough to send me running for the hills, had I not promised to review it. I’m not a tiny thing by any means, but I really couldn’t imagine the toy fitting the way it was meant to.

In addition to its size, the toy uses batteries. Four AA batteries seems like a lot but maybe its just me. Once I had the batteries in I fiddled with the controls. I must say that the batteries did the trick because just placing a fingertip on the bunny part of the toy made me squirm!

So we tried it. I didn’t need the lubricant that was included, but it was a nice touch. The toy felt nice inside. It filled me nicely and that alone made me hot. The vibrations of the bunny felt divine and it was powerful enough to take me to the edge. However, once I turned the main shaft on, no dice. The twisting and turning on the inside did absolutely nothing for me.

While this isn’t my toy of choice, it was a fun thing to throw into the mix. If you like to be filled and have your clit stimulated, then it’s fine so long as you don’t power up the main shaft of the toy. Even I like it that way!

I really wanted to like this toy. I wanted it to send me soaring and leave me breathless. Heaven knows we tried. Unfortunately, it just didn’t deliver for me.

Sex Toy Review: The Nea by Lelo

This sex toy review is brought to you courtesy of Edenfantasys where you will find all the high quality sex toys your naughty little heart desires.

Courtesy of Edenfantasys.com

When I first heard about Lelo and their line of incredibly feminine, high quality sex toys, I was so excited. Though they had plenty to offer, only the Nea really seemed to call to me. So, naturally I couldn’t resist the offer to review it.

The package arrived in a plain box, which was nice. Discreet is a good thing where I live, not only in our neighborhood, but in a house full of children with prying eyes. Just one more reason to love Edenfantasys!

The Nea itself arrived in a beautiful package. A black box with a shiny finish only cemented my belief that these people knew what they were doing. Inside the glossy black box was a matte finish box, not unlike one that watches come in. Very classy and very easy to open, which is hard to come by in this age of plastic that requires scissors and the strength of Hercules to open.

When I lifted the top off the box, I was shocked. The Nea was so small! Now, I’m a big girl with lots of curves, so I was a little skeptical. I usually prefer toys with some substance, some oomph.

I plugged it into the charger and spent a few minutes stroking it lovingly. The glossy black color with the pretty pink flowers was absolutely divine. The LED buttons were ingenius and well placed. I pressed them just to see if it was really as quiet as they had claimed and it most certainly was!

We were finally ready to try it, but as luck would have it, not in the traditional way. Instead, I used it on my husbands testicles and I stimulated him orally. Imagine my surprise when he climaxed immediately! He said the vibration was not too powerful, not too annoying, but was the perfect balance for his sensitive man parts. (It’s good to know what our partners think of our toys!)

I tried it myself with my husbands assistance and it was nice. I say nice, because it was just enough. Not enough to send me over the top to an intense climax in record time, but enough to stimulate my clitoris and feel really good.

In all fairness, if you prefer intense clitoral stimulation, this is probably not the toy for you. If you do however, like pretty toys with overtly feminine design and the convenience of a recharger, with just enough vibration to get you ready, this is a toy for you.
